Jogging in the street???

If there are 3, count them, THREE, sidewalks available, why jog/run in the MIDDLE of the street?????
While driving on said street, I had to wait for 5 cars to pass in the other direction to pass a jogger that was jogging in the middle of my traffic lane. Her Ipod must have been turned up way to loud b/c she did not hear my car or my car horn when I tried to get her attention to move over out of the middle of the traffic lane. I tried to rationalize it, maybe she was physically deaf, don't hate on the Ipod. But then I saw the thing strapped to her arm w/the little wires going to her ears. Well, she must be on a good way to permanent hearing loss now.
If you cannot fathom running/jogging on one of the 3 well maintained sidewalks on the lakefront(1 next to the sea wall, 1 in the green space, 1 across the road on the home side), provided by the city, please be careful of traffic & at lease run/jog on the right side of the lane, so that cars may pass you.

I'm a good citizen for not rolling her over like an annoying speed bump with my large SUV, right?????

Okay, I've not posted on here for awhile, but after the recent reminder that this outlet existed, and after becoming quite annoyed about this several times today, I decided to put it out there.

"Lose" means to misplace something.

"Loose" means your dog is on the run.

You do NOT need to "loose" weight; and your pants are not "lose."

Hey!!! I just heard through the grapevine that this blog actually had READERS! Woo. So WTF? Why haven't you commented? Heh.


I can't get blogger at work anymore. WTF? Web gestapo nazis! Boo! But, I think I have figured out how to post from email. Hooray!

So, six months have gone by. So much WTF has happened, I don't even know where to start. Some of it doesn't involve only me, so I'm not at liberty to post it, but dudes. It is truly truly a WTF bonanza. Comment here and I shall reply by email.

I'm going to start traveling again soon, so I'm sure there will be some WTF moments forthwith.

You know, when you say you are going to be somewhere on a certain day, either be there or call to cancel. We are adding a room onto our house and this wasn't the 1st time the workers coming over did not bother to show up. I sat here all day waiting for the electrician and A/C guys to come. They didn't even let our contractor know they weren't coming until he called them to check on their progress. I could have taken the boys to a pool playdate I had to cancel on yesterday bc of these guys coming over. Pisses me off!

WTF was he thinking?

If this isn't illegal, it darn well should be (just looked it up and it is illegal in FL!). While leaving the rec center and turning onto Bell Shoals (and then Bloomingdale) which are both very busy roads, the guy in front of me was driving his motorcycle. He wasn't wearing a helmet- dumb but he's an adult and has that choice. That's not my problem, my problem is he has an 8-9 yr old CHILD on the back with NO helmet!!! That child doesn't get to make that choice. He doesn't have the maturity or common sense to make that choice. All I kept thinking was What If? What if he had to swerve and the boy wasn't hanging on tight enough? What if a car hit them? Ugh. I couldn't get the license plate but even if I had, who do you call? 911? I was always taught to only call them in a dire emergency. Grrrr

I know there is no true explanation. He just did it. That is BS. What drove him to kill and injure and selfishly take lives of others? Others, whom, he may not have even have known and obviously did not care about. What an ass. What a complete bastard. The families of the killed and wounded are braving the pressures no one need ever face. The insolence of our insatiable need for more and why and how and what. The cameras everywhere! I admit, I watch, I cry with them. But, were it my family, my daughter, my son, my sister, my brother, my friend, my mom, my dad, I would want to be left alone. I know, 'we' are supporting them but in some ways 'we' are too much. I mourn with them and I can not even being to imagine the tragedy and the days ahead. For that, I am heartily sorry. I pray, I dream, I wish. We can't go back, I know. And forward looking, I want it never to happen again - ANYWHERE

Prayers to all the victims, their families, the murder er and his poor family.

People there is NO reason to drive 100 miles per hour in a residential area. I am so irritated and tired of watching the witch up the street and the ass down the street race home. I mean you can't have to pee that bad everyday. If they EVER come close to my kid there WILL be hell to pay!

Slow down!

This is SO wrong...

Someone stole my Girl Scout cookies. I bought cookies from somebody's kid in the office and they left them in the kitchen with my name and a tag to pay $7.00. Someone took it upon themselves to OPEN the box, and CUT the plastic bag, and EAT half of the cookies. Luckily, they were the yucky sugar free brownie ones. I would have called the police had it been my Samoa's.

But still, WTF? We share all the time around here and anything already open in the kitchen is known to be fair game, but who OPENS someone else's stuff?

Rush Hour

It should be against the law to move a house on a two lane interstate
at 5:15 pm. There is nothing "rush" about blocking both lanes at
30mph. Especially when the speed limit is 70.

don't call me at work then!

Everyday my desk phone rings at 3:36, the exact moment my mother gets home from work. She asks 'what are you doing" - uh - you called me at work - I'm WORKING!! She goes on to mindless chit-chat about what happened during her day. Boss stops by my desk & wants something, pertaining to - you guessed it - Work! Tell mom I can't talk now - she gets PO'ed & her feeling hurt & says she never gets to hold a conversation with me. Sorry - I work full time, I have a 4 year old boy, a husband, I live in a FEMA trailer while I try to do some repairs on our house in the dark (because it is dark when I get hime from work!). Don't forget cooking, cleaning & laundry. Sorry I don't have time to chat on the phone for an hour at a time.

Delays

Delays suck. Missed my flight by 5 minutes. Had to reroute through DC. Flight delayed. Friggin COLD with snow on ground here. Saw John Kerry in the airport. Not very impressive presence in person. Frankly, I don't like him anyway, but I expected more. At least he's flying
commercial. Flight had lots of turbulence and I almost puked twice. I don't get motion sick easily.

Oh yes- the WTF...

WTF do people talk with their hands on their cell phones? The gesturing excessively in a "trying to fly without wings" manner just makes you look foolish. Also, a 14 inch laptop screen does not shield the view from all angles. I saw you pick your nose. Ew.

Ugh

Why are there always the most wrecks when I am late for a plane? I think maybe the gods just don't want me in Charlotte. Ever. There must be evil there.

Also, rubber-neckers should be drawn and quartered. In front of an audience in car shaped seats that revolve around the stage in slow motion.

More travel related woes to come I'm sure.

THIS pisses me off

Why don't new clothes come with all the buttons TIGHTENED so that you don't lose one the second time you've worn the jacket? Ever? WTF dude? Is there a conspiracy with the Button Sewers of America or something? Because, when I pay $75 for a piece of clothing - I would like to be able to wear it without further assembly.

OUCH!

Why is it that once I bite my lip, I will keep biting it over and over again? WTF??? And ouch, that hurts! Also, now I look funny with my lip swollen.

No WTF?

Nobody has any complaints? I guess that's a good thing! LOL
