Your ped was misinformed and you misread the manual. You "technically" DID do something wrong. It wasn't a matter of a "safer" alternative. Whatever....

The proper response when someone says "Thank You" to you is "You're Welcome." Or a nod of the head. A mumble. Something. It's not a prissy walk-away.

Also, when I ask you "What Floor?" you can answer me. Really, I've known my numbers to 12 since I was 2 years old. You do not have to swipe your own badge and press your own button, practically stepping on my foot to do so.

You know that lane that's there so you can safely get onto the interstate? The one that goes on for about 100 yards? The one that people refer to as the merge lane? (I have even heard it referred to as the Acceleration! lane!)

It is NOT called the Slam On Your Brakes and Come to a Complete Stop and Pray for a Decent Opening So You Can Drive lane. There is alot of road there in that lane.

3 guys steal 1 truck

Dear 3 dumb guys,
If you break into the lock box, find 4 sets of keys for the 4 trucks parked next to the box, why would you steal 1 truck???? 3 guys could steal, at least, 2 trucks. if it takes one dumb guy to drive the get away car, why didn't the other 2 dumb guys each take a truck???? Dump the POS get away car & take 3 new trucks?

Now, dumb ass holes, I have to come to the office at 2am to transfer keys to the guy that really needs the truck. Since, of course, I can't leave the keys in the lock box anymore!

Just because you can wear something, doesn't mean you should. Noone should wear bicycle pants in public unless you are on a bicycle. You should most definately NOT wear them if you over 60 shopping in Sam's club wearing some 80s nautical looking shirt with it and you are 50lbs overweight.

Family issues and forgiveness

Why is it that we expect people to forgive us readily but not forgive others? I have been guilty of this in the past and struggle to not do so now. I mean really, you say you are God-fearing and Christian but do not offer forgiveness. And worse, this is stuff that happened so long ago, people barely remember. How does that work into your brain as a transgression, which is unforgivable? You have been on vacations with us, dinner, used our help and our services, celebrated births and deaths and now decide that something that happened so long ago means you can no longer see me or my family? What the f*ck is that?

This is a family issue that has been going on for us almost a year, but the daughter's birthday party is tomorrow and we, of course, were not invited. Hurts, you know. She is my niece and my children have never even met her - sucks!

You know what else irritates me about that is that the rest of the family will go and not even ask where we are. Are they afraid similar could happen to them or simply don't care? I sure hope the former.

Ok, so dh said we will not contact them. Screw it. I sent them an email. May not read it but I sent it. Titled: forgiveness:

People with "Power"

WTF is it with people in "power" positions? Is there a code of conduct somewhere that says they HAVE to be assholes? Why would these people punish children solely to make a "point" to the parents? This happened to me a month or so ago regarding Sunday School. Now, it's happening again to some friends in regard to actual school. Ridiculous!

My out was easy. I just changed where I went to church, since I wasn't attached to the place anyway. Unfortunately for my other friends, there is a level of attachment and the decision to leave is not so easy.

Why can't adults just leave the kids out of it? WTF???

Monday

This time I'm going to have to call a WTF on myself. WTF is with me and Monday? I cannot get motivated to do ANYTHING today. Grrr.

And there is no one hanging out on my Mom's board to talk to. WTF is up with that?

What the F*ck?

WTF is with people who can't (or won't) apologize? In the past month or so, people have said and done some really ugly things to me. Not one person has said they were sorry about it. That hurts me and it angers me.

I *always* say I'm sorry. In one situation, even though I'm not the one who started it, I'm the one who said I was sorry. NO F&cking response.

Do people not care about their words or actions anymore? Has our society lost all sense of personal responsibility? Owning up to our own actions? WTF???

Why is it that the better you are at your job, the more work you have to do? And what's worse, that extra work is always something that nobody else wants to do.

I just loved coming into work this morning to an email from our marketing director stating that my boss had volunteered me for a project for her. I work three days a week for three lawyers. You'd think everyone would realize I have enough to do already. My boss's response to my complaint? Well, it's not that hard, and I really need someone competent to do it. So he compliments me to make me feel better about it. Grrr!

Freaking ladies who don't know what the hell they are talking about!!!

I am so ticked! Aspen was supposed to start school this week at the same school she went to last year, Well first of all I put her on the waiting list, then I called a month later and she was on the wrong freaking waiting list, so they told me she could have a spot starting yesterday in the prek because she would be 4 within 2 weeks. So when I went to pay, one lady told us we had already paid, I didn't care if they wanted to pay for us fine... But then she sent us to someone else who told us Aspen cant go there because she misses the cutoff. Ok fine put her in a preschool class then... Yeah sure the only Preschool class she can go into isnt until October and is further away and I don't even think possible for us, I feel bad because Aspen had already gone to orientation at the school, and knew she was going to start this week so she's upset. They knew her bday when we signed up! They asked for it, and they couldn't have figured it out then so she could have a spot in the 3yr old class. Ok so that is a lot of rambling, but I don't think Aspen can go to school until after we move in January.
